Chef Jethro Wirht
Chef Jethro Wirht is a Surinamese culinary artist driven by refinement, storytelling, and the authentic flavors of his homeland. With years of experience across Suriname and abroad, he founded RUTU Cuisine to elevate Surinamese gastronomy to new heights.
His style blends tradition with innovation. Jethro has led exclusive private dining experiences, catered high-end events for diplomatic circles, and is known for his signature creations like “smoked bang bang on cassava toast” and modern takes on classics such as pom and roti.
